Workpath adds two experienced executives from Celonis and Contentful

Munich, 9 February 2022 - Munich-based software-as-a-service company Workpath, Europe's market leader for outcome management, has expanded its management team. Two new players have come on board to drive growth and thus address the ever-increasing need for outcome-centered strategy execution in today's hyper-dynamic market environment. Both will contribute significantly towards further scaling and internationalization activities in different areas of the company:

Pia Vieregge

starts as the new Head of People at Workpath. In her previous role as Director People Programme at Celonis, currently Germany's most valuable unicorn and a multi-billion euro company, she and her team were able to recruit more than 600 new talents for the company and thus actively drive its successful growth.

Jakob Huhn

will drive Workpath's growth as the new Vice President of Sales. His previous stations include Amazon's AWS, where he built up the SME sales team in Europe from 2013 to 2018. Most recently, he was Head of Sales EMEA at Contentful, a content platform that is now valued at over three billion euros. In addition to his significant contribution to the company's success, he achieved to grow the sales team from 6 to over 40 employees.

Workpath's mission is to bridge the gap between strategy and execution and ensure that strategic goals are sustainably transformed into real business results. Jakob Huhn, new VP of Sales, describes: “Outcome Management is a critical driver of our customers’ digital transformation, for which Workpath has a compelling value proposition; partnering with organizations to help them attain their strategic objectives.”

Outcome management enables companies to remain successful in an increasingly dynamic market environment with constantly changing ground rules. Established players have long been challenged by new competitors with fewer resources. And while efficiency and stability were the success factors of the past, what counts now are adaptability and speed.

To pave the way for companies to do this, Workpath has made it its mission to bring on board more talent with excellent expertise and extensive experience in their specialist areas. This is how Pia Vieregge, Workpath's new Head of People, describes it: “Leading, collaborating and steering based on outcomes is a best practice in agile companies already. And it is becoming state of the art for any future-ready organization. This makes Workpath an employer with enormous potential. Together with the smart and very talented team, this is an exceptional opportunity to have impact on a great future success story.”

Johannes Müller, CEO of Workpath, is also looking forward to this success story and the two new additions to the leadership team: “I am incredibly excited about this extension of Workpath’s leadership team. Our new leaders Pia and Jakob stand for diversity, ambition and kindness, they truly represent our core values. Working with them to build the next European SaaS leader and to shape a new software category for the outcome economy opens a great new chapter on Workpath’s journey.”
